At British Home, we are more than a charity—we are a therapeutic community for individuals living with neuro-disabilities. We offer a suite of essential services that empower our residents to live life to the fullest, including:
- Slow-Stream Rehabilitation: Restoring independence and confidence through personalised care plans.
- Intensive Neurorehabilitation: Rehabilitation through smart goals with an interdisciplinary approach
- Nursing Support for long term neurological conditions: Nursing and therapeutic care in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Respite Care: Supporting caregivers with short-term, high-quality care for their loved ones.
- Palliative Care: Compassionate end-of-life care planning for physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing”, in line with the resident’s expressed wishes.
- Outpatient Support: Extending our expertise beyond our residential care, we offer outpatient support tailored to individuals living with neuro-disabilities. These services are designed to provide rehabilitation, therapy, and ongoing care in a flexible format to meet specific needs while enabling individuals to maintain their independence at home.
Every resident at British Home has faced the challenges of neuro-disability, whether due to an accident, stroke, trauma, or a degenerative condition. Our mission is to provide tailored care that meets the unique needs and aspirations of everyone.
A Home Tailored to Each Individual
Our Home accommodates up to 80 residents, each with their own private living space. Under the guidance of our Director of Care, our expert, multi-disciplinary team develops personalised care plans to suit the individual. No two journeys are the same, and neither are the support programs we provide.
For some, British Home is a stepping stone—a place to recover and transition to life in an adapted home within the wider community. For others, it is a permanent residence where they find stability, comfort, and care for the long term.
