Donations and Legacies

The money we raise through donations, events and legacies is all used to improve the quality of life of people living with neuro-disability.

British Home is a registered charity. Donations and legacies make a positive difference to the quality of life of British Home's residents. Through such support, we are able to offer personalised programmes of activities, therapy and support that ensure people living with neuro-disability are able to live as independently and positively as possible.

Recent donations to British Home have enabled more of our residents to access therapy in ways that support their individual needs. Thanks to such contributions we have been able to increase the amount and range of specialist equipment in the Therapy Suite and introduce new rehabilitation programmes into other areas of care at British Home.

Income from donations and legacies also supports the maintenance and improvement of our environment. Recent developments, made possible through charitable funds, have included the introduction of sensory areas in our gardens, and the upgrade of WiFi across the site to enable residents to access entertainment and stay in touch with friends and family.
